Our Team
Meet the passionate individuals behind Drops of Sri Lanka. Our diverse team brings together expertise in crafting, sustainable practices, and Sri Lankan culture to deliver exceptional products and experiences.

Premanie
I have been an English teacher all my life. In october 2024 I retired. I love crocheting, it is a soothing work for me. I learned the skill when I was very young and love it to this day. I mostly knit jewellery with floral patterns.

Dinithi
I joined this project because by helping those who just started their own business, it really supports our people and the country. My favorite local crafts are batik textile, handmade pottery, ancient wooden masks, lacework and crocheting. At Drops of Sri Lanka I am responsible for all kinds of administrative work.

Chamari
I am a housewife and I have two babies. My hobby is knitting since my school days. My mother taught it first. As time went by, I learned new ways on my own. Knitting has become a small job now. The money I earn from selling the knitted things is a big help for my family. I am also running my small business. My hope is to keep earning some money from it and support my family.

Dilini
I am 31 years old. I love to sew clothes. My mother is my sewing teacher. I am married and I have two sons aged five and three and a half years. I am very thankful to Drops of Sri Lanka for involving me in this project!

Immi
I joined this project because I’m very passionate about supporting women and local businesses. My younger sister crochets bags inspired by flowers and and I help with social media content creating and illustrating our dear crafters and also commissions! It’s amazing to be a part of such a warm, kind community and I hope to support this project in any way I am able to.

Shemaya
Hi! I am Shemaya and I am really happy to join this project! It is a great platform to share my crafts with you. I like making teddybears, scrunchies and more. I am currently working on my advanced levels in arts.
